John Simpson i Mr Chan. Siedzę już pięć minut i myślę, co mógłbym napisać na ich temat. Co prawda wszyscy mówią, że mój angielski jest całkiem przyzwoity, ja jednak sobie nie ufam więc tłumacząc stronę korzystam z pomocy Johna, przesympatycznego Szkota mieszkającego i pracującego od wielu lat w Dublinie. Co jest niezwykłe w tym człowieku? Na pewno pogoda ducha, otwartość i tolerancja. Ze względu na szkocki akcent zdarza się, że czasami mam problemy ze zrozumieniem go. John natychmiast potrafi to zauważyć. Wówczas sam powtarza wszystko, co właśnie powiedział.

 Czasami odnoszę wrażenie, że John jest jak Piotruś Pan- nigdy nie dorośnie. I to jest w nim właśnie najbardziej niesamowite.

 Chan. Dzielimy emigracyjną niedolę. Pracujemy wspólnie, narzekamy na wszystko również wspólnie;) W tym jego malezyjski charakter jest podobny do mojego. Wspólnie mamy również zamiar wygrać w końcu w Euromiliona! Chan jest buddystą dlatego doskonale wie, że ,,Życie jest podróżą, nie punktem przeznaczenia”.

 Reasumując: dzięki chłopaki. Za to, że jesteście moimi przyjaciółmi i zawsze mogę liczyć na Waszą pomoc. Tą nieocenioną. Psychologiczną.

John Simpson and Mr. Chan. I have been sitting for last 5 minutes thinking how I could describe them.  

 John is one of my colleagues. He was born in Scotland but he got married in Dublin and sience this time he has been living in Ireland. Everybody says that my English is pretty good but adding new coments to my websites I always ask John: could you check out this text for me,please?

 What is unusual in that man? Certainly serenity, openness and tolerance. Due to the Scottish accent it happens that sometimes I can not understand him.  John can notice my problems  immediately. Then he repeats everything what he has just said.  
  Sometimes I get the impression that John is like a Peter Pan- he will never grow up. This is amazing because he is over 60 now. I wish I were as cheerful as John in this age!
  Chan. We share the misery of exile. Some parts of our characters are alike.  We work together, also complain about everything together;) Together, we are also going to win in the Euromilion! Chan is a Buddhist so he also believes that ,, Life is a journey, not a point of destination ".
  To sum up: thanks guys. For the fact that you are my friends and I can always count on your help. This invaluable. Psychological

Wiesz co to jest wstyd? Wstyd jest wtedy, kiedy wchodzę do off licence’a i od razu wiedza co maja podać. To jest wstyd. Niektórzy uznaliby to za nobilitację. Niestety nie ja!

You know what  is shame ? Shame is when you go to the nearest off licence store and they immediately know what to give you. This is a shame. Some people would consider this as ennoblement. Unfortunately-not me!

I look at the situation  and I hope this time I will not have to be surprised because they have just stopped  serving my host.
